WELDING AND FABRICATION SERVICES

Sovereign Fusion Inc. is a CWB certified custom fabrication shop and mobile welding service that has been in business servicing the aggregate industries since 1990.  We specialize in heavy equipment repair, maintenance welding, fabrication and installation of aggregate equipment and High Density Polyethylene pipe fusion. 

 

Mobile Welding

Our large mobile fleet is fully equipped for virtually any on site welding service call and certified to weld carbon steel & aluminum.  Vast experience in manganese, cast, stainless and much more. 

 

Structural Fabrication:

With our structural designer (CAD trained) in our 6000sq’ shop located in Campbellville Sovereign Fusion Inc. is more than capable of meeting your custom structural fabrication needs.  The shop is armed with two ten tonne overhead cranes, large break press, shear, sub arc welder, Profile Cutting Machine and Table.

 

HDPE Pipe Fusion:

High Density Polyethylene Pipe Fusion service is most commonly used for redirection or movement/control of water.  Sovereign Fusion not only butt fuses or electro fuses but we  also excavate the landsite in preparation for the laying of the pipe or the building of stands for aboveground  pipe systems.

What is HDPE Pipe Fusion?

HDPE pipe fusion or Heat Fusion Welding involves the heating of two HDPE pipe surfaces to a temperature sufficient enough to change the resin’s molecular structure to an amorphous (or pliable) state. The HDPE pipe is Butt fused together using a "fusion welder". The pipe pieces are held together via a clamping and the pipe ends are "faced" with a machining tool to establish clean, parallel mating surfaces, perpendicular to the centerline of each pipe. All fusion technicians are fully trained in butt fusion, electro fusion, and socket fusion.

When fusion pressure is applied at the designated temperature and prescribed force, the molecules from each pipe surface end mix. As the joint cools, the molecules return to their crystalline state creating one homogeneous pipe. The result is a leak-free fusion joint that is as strong or stronger than the pipe itself.

With the many years of experience in the repair and rebuilding of large buckets Sovereign Fusion Inc. has become the preferred contractor in our area.
We can offer our clients everything from small repairs (such as the mini excavator bucket) to complete rebuilds on buckets as large as the 992 Loader.  We also repair cracks, replace damaged adaptors, install new cutting edges, side walls, shells and mounting lugs.
